Professor Dauletbek Saduakasuly Rayev is a Doctor of Philosophical Sciences (2004, specialty "Social Philosophy") who graduated from KazGU with a degree in Philosophy in 1981. He has been serving at Al-Farabi KazNU since 1981. He defended his Candidate's dissertation in 1994 and received the title of Associate Professor in 1997. Professor Rayev holds extensive administrative experience, having served as the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Philology (2005–2007) and the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations (2007–2018). During his tenure, he played a key role in launching new academic programs, including "Religious Studies," "Oriental Studies," "Culturology," as well as Master's programs in "International Law" and PhD in "International Relations." Dr. Rayev is the author of significant monographs on "Kazakh Oratory Art" (2001, 2015) and was recognized as the "Best University Lecturer of 2012." He made a major contribution to the "100 New Textbooks" project under the "Rukhani Zhangyru" program, serving as a member of the editorial board and a scientific editor for several translations. Currently, he is a member of various dissertation and methodological councils, and is known among colleagues and students for his high authority, responsibility, and active engagement in university affairs.
